“I was looking for a maths tutor for my daughter to help her through her GCSEs. I found LoveMaths Tutoring after a friend recommended Liam and his team. Peter has helped tutor my daughter- they work for an hour on line so no need to ferry her to a location. Peter has worked through the basics, built her confidence and then targeted key areas. Leading up to exams she has also completed a past paper each week which has been great practice for her, and they’ve been on hand to answer any queries she had. Could not recommend Liam, Peter and LoveMaths tutoring highly enough. Great company and perfect set up. Thank you”

“My daughter was struggling with maths and I was recommended Love Maths through a teacher. The tutor my daughter was given is called Caroline. She was so friendly and approachable and they worked together building a great tutor learner bond. She really helped my daughter gain confidence in Maths and she is doing really well with her GCSEs because of the dedication she received. I cant recommended Love Maths enough. “The love Maths Tutoring team were brilliant from start to finish. they helped our daughter immensely during the lead up to her exams as well as being fundamental in instilling a sense of calm throughout her exams, by building her confidence lesson by lesson. We used them twice weekly along with booster sessions when the exams were near if she felt she needed it. we feel they helped her pass her maths and English at a higher level than she would have done without the team. Our daughter had Peter and Jon, with Liam leading the way and setting up a schedule. Our daughter finds it hard to attach to anyone but she did with the team who gave her the confidence all around. thanks guys, much appreciated”

“100% recommend LoveMaths - Peter tutored my Y11 daughter in the six months leading up to her maths GCSE’s. I’m sure she always had the ability, but was lacking confidence and needed some support. She went from having a ‘I can’t do maths’ attitude when she first started tutoring, to walking confidently into each of her maths papers and coming out with a smile on her face knowing she’d done a good job … the transformation was remarkable and was almost more important (to me) than the grade at the end. The free ‘surgeries’ in the run-up to exams in maths and English were an added bonus, which were very helpful. The final result …. a well-deserved 8 in maths, and a surprise 7 in physics, which we also think was down to Peter’s support helping her to crack equations. I’d highly recommend LoveMaths, and am glad I invested the money in these sessions - the confidence they gave my daughter was worth its weight in gold. “My daughter picked up her GCSE Results today. In her mock exams she was scoring low 3s in Maths and Science. Today that number was a 4. I cannot thank or recommended Liam and his team enough. They had lesson plans ready for her 1-2-1 session but if she did something at school and didn’t quite grasp it, lesson plan was on hold and the days issue was solved Big thank you Your hard work & her hard work made for great reading today”

My son passed the foundation maths paper last year but wanted to take the higher paper in order to qualify for the apprenticeship in his chosen field when he leaves college. “I approached Liam about getting some extra tuition for me son who was having a lot of supply teachers at school and I worried it was impacting on his learning. From the off, Liam was extremely responsive to messages and my many questions. He set me son up with online lessons with Hayley for science, Jon for English and Oscar for maths. Without exception all 3 tutors have been excellent, the online learning has worked really well, we were even loaned an iPad to support my son’s access to tutoring. “I was sceptical at first about getting online tuition for my daughter, who really needed some support to get her GCSE grade up and to try and get her to enjoy maths! I didn’t think it would work…….how wrong can you be! Over 6 months of weekly 1 hour sessions with Liam and jumped from a predicted 2/3 grade to a potential 5!! I will never forget her before and after face after the first session and how her confidence soared!! Took her final maths GCSE yesterday and seemed like she breezed through them. “We spent roughly 1.5 years with Liam tutoring my children while we were online during the pandemic. I was always under the impression that they would fall behind in math because it was online learning but nope. “My son has always found school a challenge and indeed the teachers often found him challenging. Maths was always his strongest subject but he failed his GCSE maths exam. As he had to resit maths at college I decided a maths tutor would give him the extra support and help he needed for him to achieve the best grade he could. It was important the tutor would engage with my son and make the subject fun and interesting. After Liam’s own assessment he understood my son’s needs and limitations from the outset. He is an organised and enthusiastic teacher who is firm but fair and keeps my son engaged for the full hour without him getting distracted or bored, which is no mean feat! “Can not recommend Liam highly enough! Having taken my son out of school, Liam has been teaching GCSE Maths to Henry 3 times a week remotely. The change in Henry was almost immediate having gone from predicted grade of 1 at school to predicted 5 in a short space or time.
